SBRI Competition Fusion Industry Challenges – Novel Concepts for Robust Diagnostics Systems, Sensing and Control

This competition aims to develop solutions to fusion energy challenges in two key priority areas: Novel concepts for robust diagnostics systems and Robust components for sensing and control.

Future-Proofing Biosecurity by Strengthening the UK’s Microbial Forensics Capability

The Defence and Security Accelerator is inviting proposals that address challenges within the field of Microbial Forensics. The following research areas are of particular interest to this competition: Computational tools that improve the opportunity to detect anomalies in genome sequencing data and technologies that allow the identification and/or computational analysis of other omic signatures for novel Microbial Forensic capabilities.

The Technology Exchange Programme aims to promote the participation of researchers and companies for the design, development, and validation of novel scientific methods and technologies that contribute to the extension of the range of intelligent transferable skills and capabilities of robots in different application domains (industrial, personal, and outdoors), complementing the main goals considered in the euROBIN project. Beneficiaries selected under this open call will join some of the euROBIN core teams to integrate and evaluate the developed solutions of the robots at the hosting labs.
